Modrudalur camping welcomes all guests to enjoy mountain glory and peaceful evenings at the highest settled farm in Iceland (469m).
We offer our campers; electricity, cooking facility, washing facility, showers, frispee-golf, walking routes, petrol station.
Fjallakaffi is our small coffee/restaurant where campers can buy supplies including fresh meat,barbeque,charcoal, shampoo, toothbrush.....etc.
The sommer 2008 we will offer our guests to take a part in a short evening trip in the surounding of Mödrualur, to appreaciate the wilderness and stark nature beauty of the Icelandic highlands. With luck we may encounter wild geese and birds as well as the surprising variety of plants that survive at this altitude. We will walk through a gorge to a waterfall and watch sunset over the higlands from a viewpoint.
